Field Research

My objective involved the reimagining of a conventional item through technological enhancement.                   I conceptualized and crafted a touchscreen mirror, drawing inspiration from the functionalities of the TikTok app, particularly its filter feature. The aim was to elevate a traditional mirror into an innovative, user-friendly, and contemporary product.

Designing Thumbnail Sketches

After conducting field research, I created a series of thumbnail sketches which visualized various dimensions, structural elements, and overall form of the product.

Finalizing the Design

Considering my thumbnail sketches, I opted for a desk mirror to facilitate a more intimate and versatile interaction in everyday use. Subsequently, I crafted a more refined sketch outlining its functions and features. In the final design phase, I developed a detailed rendered sketch that emphasized the refined aspects of the product, including color and texture elements.
