As the 2020 Newsletter Chairman for Gamma Phi Beta sorority at UC Santa Barbara, I designed a quarterly newsletter highlighting philanthropy, sisterhood, and Greek events.

Background

Each quarter, the Delta Psi Chapter: Gamma Phi Beta sorority at the University of California, Santa Barbara, releases a newsletter highlighting philanthropic events, sisterhood activities, and Greek festivities. This newsletter is subsequently distributed to both current and alumni members of the chapter.

As the Newsletter Chairman, I was assigned the responsibility of designing the Winter 2020 Newsletter where I conducted research, interviews, and collaborated with the Public Relations Chairman and sorority advisor

Understanding Brand Guidelines

During the initial design stage, I conducted research on the branding guidelines for the Gamma Phi Beta chapter and collaborated with the sorority advisor to ensure that all elements were designed in accordance with the chapter standards.

Finalizing the Designs

Following the initial design stage, I proceeded to design an 11-page newsletter, which was distributed virtually to all current and alumni members. All designs were created using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
